About Us
Antwan Jennings a native of St. Petersburg Florida owner and operator of MisTer’z Barber Lounge took an interest in cutting hair while attending Pinellas Park High School. At the age of 15, Antwan’s mother provided him with his first set of Oster’s 76 hair clippers and from there is where it all began. Antwan would practice cutting the kids in the neighborhood hair. During this time Antwan consulted with his uncle who would go on to invest in Antwan’s education and shortly thereafter he would attend Sunstate Beauty Academy, where he obtained his certificate and later became a licensed barber. Antwan’s long term goal was to obtain his own barbershop and provide a professional work environment for other licensed barbers. In 2016 Antwan acquired Against The Grain Barber Shop, and began putting his own spin on what would be a cultivating professional barbershop.

MisTer’z Barber Lounge invites men, women and children of all ages to come to have their hair care needs met by experienced stylists who enjoy what they do. By using this approach, we are building long lasting, solid relationships with clients.
This way of thinking allows us to get a feel for our clients, which in turn helps us to give them exactly what they want. MisTer’z Barber Lounge is not your average shop. We don’t view our clients as customers, we consider them family.
